new strap
the straps they give you with these cameras are way too short! hung around the neck, the camera not only bounces on your upper chest all day long when you're walking but you look like a naffing stereotypical tourist!
all attempts to track down a decent length camera strap failed... until one day i thought ''guitars!''
this was the cheapest guitar strap in our little local music shop (£5.99) and, combining it with a thin strap off my original pentax, sliced in two, plus all four little buckles, i now have a pretty good strap so i can carry the eos bandoleero stylee on the hip. no tourist pose, no neck ache - good eh?

Very cool look too. I'm glad you passed on the guitar strap with the pot plant images all along it - my son has one of those.
On the other hand - that's un-touristy also!
i had the impression it wasn't that sort of shop, gary. i can't be sure but i sensed a high degree of propriety in the proprietor - i think most of his customers aspire to be young musician of the year not queens of the stone age.
he said the strap with spiderman was very popular. :o)
