i love the color of this post; such an unusual color; and nice contrast with the color and texture of the rusted out chain.

ps - i was reading a couple of your other sites; the rock and roll ones - which would not let me post... the pink floyd album cover was an interesting read; though I am opposed to animals in people clothes (and people in animal clothes). my daughter got to take a class in 'the history of rock and roll' in college; how cool is that; now she is full of interesting tidbits and has a great ipod assortment.

thanks. actually i'm a bit concerned about my minotor's calibration but yes, it was the colour, and the direct sun which helped it along, that appealed.

oh the old blogs? just looking for something to write around - i can't manage straightforward 'this is my day today' blogs. i wasn't doing the photos then.

pink floyd? i didn't think... ah, the JJ Cale - ''Naturally''?! i mentioned a pink floyd track that i played to my girls but i'm not a fan of pink floyd. now, JJ Cale on the otherhand... ;o)

Great one Ian--the lime green really stands out and looks like you got some nice shadow-casting sunlight.

now I see all your photos better, the colors radiant, wonderful, brighter........what happened????

the mysteries of light unexplained. i don't know, i didn't touch anything. :o)

at work, they've given me a new monitor for drawing - i think the colour/contrast/brightness is biased for engineering drawing. it's awful for looking at photos!
